  Back in 1996, I slept on the patio where the restaurant is now. I arrived there late in the afternoon, the winery was closed but I met the daughter of the owner. It was very windy and cold at night as we take refuge in our sleeping bag. My gratitude to the kind lady who let us stay overnight on the premise. Didn't have a chance to try the wine as we left early the next morning for Port Augusta.

  Had an excellent cellar door/wine tasting experience at Paulett. Outstanding views and good service. Although quite busy, Linda (cellar door manager) was very attentive and happy to share her knowledge on the wines. Wines are really affordable - and with a five-star winery rating from James Halliday - are great value. Try the sparkling shiraz.

  This is a great place with sensational views over the valley. The staff are very friendly and the menu is really interesting with some beautiful food that is also delicious. All very reasonably priced too with most mains around $20. Book for lunch as it does get busy!

  A great atmosphere, warm and inviting. Great range of Riesling and their new bitter beer was awesome. Had their Bush Devine platter which was awesome while overlooking the valley.
